Professor Chaoyi PANG
Dr Pang received his PhD degree in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Melbourne in 1999. After worked for CSIRO as a research Scientist for 12 years, he joined Zhejiang University（NIT）as a distinguished professor in 2015. Being a senior member of ACM and adjunct professors at Griffith University and RMIT University of Australia, he has published more than 100 research papers, including Algorithmica, TODS, VLDBJ, etc. Dr Pang has beeninvited to present his research to many conferences and to be PCs for more than 80 international reputable conferences. He reviewed journal articles forTODS;IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering; JWWW; Knowledge-Based Systems; IEEE Journal of Computer; Journal of Medical Systems; ICDE conference; ICDT conference, etc.
Prior to his role at CSIRO, Dr Pangworked in the IT industry for more than 20 years, both in academic research oriented institutions (The University of Melbourne, etc.) and in industries and consultancy within Australia (EWA Australia,E-Centric, etc.) in the areas of data processing/computing, database/data warehouse, mathematical modeling, etc.
